Keep Grinding

The lows always bring you down.

One minute you’re flying high the clouds because you finally reached your goal or you got what you wanted.

The next minute, you’re six feet under, wondering how the heck am I going to get back up there, how am I going to even stand up again, how can I dig my way out.

The falling is not sudden.

It’s slow. It’s gradual.

But in a blink of your eye, you’re in a low. And you can’t find that high again. You can’t find that motivation to get back up and do what you love, do what you have to do, do what you must do.

Some people just stay in the low. They don’t try to climb their way back up. They just stay there, sitting in that pond scum.

But others… they’re the ones who make the difference. They’re the ones who claw their way back up. They rise and rise and rise.

Oprah Winfrey, Elon Musk, Taylor Swift… they’re at the top because they kept grinding, past the lows, past the highs…

And they’re still grinding.

Everyday, I check my blog. I look at it and wonder why my stats are so obsolete when I’m writing and writing and writing.

I can stop at blogging. I can just give up. It’s just a hobby.

But no. I’m going to keep writing, I’m going to keep posting, I’m going to keep checking those stats, but I’m writing for me. It’s just a hobby, but it’s my hobby.

So I’m going to keep going.

And there are millions of people out there doing the same.

They’re in the daily grind.

They keep grinding. And soon enough, they’ll be rewarded.

Lots of love, and keep grinding,

Jess
