stress

lurking in the dark,
a cruel parasite cackles –
teeth latched on my brain

stress is an evil parasite, especially prevalent in the evermore competitive society of today. it eats away at you until you burn out. until you wish you could have the rest of your life off.

make sure to balance your stress and your life. take some time out of the day, even if you have a lot to do, to read a book, play a game, or do something that takes your mind off of things for awhile (key word: awhile). you will find that when you return back to work, your mind will be clearer.

it works for me; i write to destress. sometimes, i go to my room and watch YouTube vids to destress. or i simply lay on my bed and think.

stress, itself, isn’t necessarily a bad thing, until it becomes too much.
