grey skies

he was a grey fool
grey because he had nothing
but the clouds for friends

i hate grey skies. not when it’s raining or when it’s clouded. i hate grey skies in the summer. it’s not necessarily grey but a yellowish-greyish, a reflection of human endeavors to destroy everything in the process of attempting to be successful (truly, what is success?). the fool part may refer to humans; it may refer to the foolishness of the sky to dare overcome the rays of the sun. it can mean a lot of things, some of which i have not thought of.

also, please do your part in reducing your carbon footprint on earth.

here’s a helpful website for doing so: https://news.climate.columbia.edu/2018/12/27/35-ways-reduce-carbon-footprint/
