30 Day Writing Challenge: Day 11- Talk About My Siblings

I have a sister who is two and a half years younger than me.

She is almost as tall as I am (maybe one or two inches shorter). Most people say we look like twins, so we have devised a plan to trick them to see we are twins. We have not put this plan into execution yet.

She is currently in seventh grade, going on to eighth grade. So when I am in senior year of high school, she will be a freshman, which means I get to annoy her.

She is similar to me, yet so different.

She loves to braid her hair into intricate designs that I cannot do. Her eyes aren’t as bad as mine, and she only needs to wear glasses half of the time. She is stubborn, yet outgoing, and talks a lot. She is able to make friends with anyone and everybody. She hates swimming although she is in a swim club, and likes soccer because of her teammates.

She is funny at times and is completely obsessed with the koalas and the panda from the San Diego Zoo Cam. We named one of the koalas Pat Pat and the other one Gua Gua. Don’t ask me why.

Anyways, she is annoying at times, but, I suppose, that is to be expected of younger siblings.

As I am writing this post, she is reading her summer book quite quietly. And switching between the koala and panda camera at times. But, right now, she is reading. No doubt, this will change within a few more minutes.

I have to say.

Even though she is annoying at times and like a fly buzzing around me that won’t go away, I have to admit I love her. (I think 🙂 ).

Let me know about your siblings! I would love to hear about them.

Lots of love,
